Ecstatic Dance Leuven Johannes Siemann Live Music Set

We’re delighted to invite you to an evening of Ecstatic Dance in Leuven, carried by a live music journey from Johannes Siemann. Expect a set woven from a wide range of instruments — didgeridoo, guitar, world percussion, flutes and voice — built live with a loopstation. Johannes brings his Inner-Rhythms approach: events that invite slowing down, embodiment and connection.

The evening is held in De Spiegelzaal and follows the gentle structure of Ecstatic Dance: we open with a guided ceremony to set an intention and create a container, then move into a music-led dance journey where you are free to move however you wish, and we close again with a short ceremony. The music blends moments of spaciousness with playful rhythm and joy, guiding a shared voyage through sound, body and encounter.

Practicals: come as you are, barefoot, bring water and avoid alcohol on the dancefloor. We hold three simple guidelines: no shoes, no booze, no chitchat. You are free to follow your needs during the session; the opening guides you into the dance and the closing brings you back.

22:00 Closing ceremony

Location notes: De Spiegelzaal is on the Heilig Hart Instituut / UCLL campus (Hertogstraat 178 / Naamsesteenweg 355, Heverlee). There are two parking options described on site (via Hertogstraat 178 or Naamsesteenweg 355) and short walking routes from the car parks to the Spiegelzaal.

Tickets: there are standard, supportive and social-rate options; feel free to give according to your means. Students and people with increased compensation may use the social rate by showing proof at the box office.
