Monke Temple Hasselt

Over dit event
Welcome into a held container for slow, consensual touch and mutual care. You are invited to move at your own rhythm: to notice what your body needs, to practise saying yes and no, and to learn how closeness can feel safe and nourishing.
What happens this evening
7:00-7:30pm — Arrival, grounding and setting a personal intention so you enter from a calm, centred place.
7:30-9:45pm — The cuddle workshop: a gentle introduction to consent and trust, exercises to explore boundaries, partner practices, small-group cuddles and a playful cuddle pile.
9:45-10:00pm — Short integration and closing to come back into your day with clarity.
How you’ll be held
This is a trauma-aware, consent-first space. Everything we do is clothed; touch is optional and always negotiated. I offer clear structures and prompts so you can experiment with edges while feeling seen and supported. You are welcome to step back or take a break at any moment — there is no shame in that.
Practical
Tea, infused water and juices are provided, plus energising sweet and savoury snacks and small bites. The atmosphere is warm and non-judgemental; newcomers are welcome if you feel reasonably grounded. If this still feels like a big step, consider joining the gentler monthly gathering Feeling Your Yes in Ghent or book a 1:1 to build confidence first.
Access and inclusion
This offering is LGBTQI+ and BIPOC friendly and explicitly welcomes neurodivergent people. If you have specific accessibility needs or would like to bring a support person, please tell us in advance so we can prepare the space. If you are navigating significant grief, acute vulnerability or active trauma, we suggest building capacity with individual sessions before joining group work.
Our shared commitments
We cultivate honest care: clear consent, accountable relating, and mutual respect. Healing can include discomfort; we ask everyone to stay curious, to take responsibility for their wellbeing, and to speak up if a boundary is crossed so we can repair and learn.
Intimacy level
WHITE — conscious, caring touch above the clothes; we keep things non-erotic. Most offerings include clothed contact and choice at every step.
